The Shrines of Belore are centers of learning, healing, and ritual rites of the Priests of Belore. They serve as homes for the many priests found within the Emberlight. These shrines are often funded and maintained by the many noble houses of the Emberlight. At times, these noble houses will draft the priests to serve with them in times of war.
Each shrine is unique in shape and size. They are said to be quiet and tranquil places where each Priest will often enter their trance like state to commune with the fallen spirits of the dead. They are consider sanctuaries where weapons and violence is strictly prohibited. The largest of which was the Heartsong Shrine located in the Outer Vale. Recently, this shrine was ransacked and destroyed by the Cult of the Bleeding Eye in their recent attempt to conqueror the Emberlight.
